The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
